The panoramic lift at San Pedro will be ready in the second fortnight of December, according to the latest estimates. It should be working for Christmas. The budget for 2007 includes an assignation of 200,000 Euros for the lift, and another of 945,000 Euros to build a panoramic view point on El Monte de San Pedro.

Local government has included in the budget for 2007 an assignment of 200,000 Euros for the lift. There is another assignment of 945,000 Euros to build a panoramic view point on top of the Monte de San Pedro. The restaurant-cafetería right next to it is under construction and will open at the beginning of 2007 - maximum capacity will be 400 people under a glass structure.
A further 90,000 Euros will be invested in landscaping the area.
