Where to see birds

Birdwatching is one of the most popular pastimes on the planet. More and more people spend their free time observing and studying birds, contributing to a better understanding and conservation.

There are not many large cities with such a variety of birds as La Coruña over a year. We would like to propose a route to enjoy - but don't forget your binoculars. A bird guide would also be a good idea.


Route: The route we are proposing is quite long. If you want to walk, it would be easier to do it over more than one day. it is designed both for experienced birdwatchers and for beginners in ornithology.

The route could end on any city street or square, sitting at a bar or windowshopping. We should look up every now and then to see the redstart, sparrow, seagull or falcon.
