City Consumption
A highly significant way of finding out if we use water well at home is to analyse
our consumption.
Home consumption has been steady over the last few years in spite of a slight
increase in the number of clients. There is, however, an increase - not too
drastic but constant - in water consumed in City Councils (general services).
In 1999, the water distributed in La Coruña was 255 litres per person
per day (for a population of 243,000, including public and industrial consumption).
Home consumption for people in La Coruña is around 150 litres
per person per day.
