 Cecebre reservoir

A surface area of 275 hectares in four different municipalities - Abegondo (the majority), Betanzos eastwards, Cambre westwards and Carral.

The geography of the area is characterised by getle slopes. The River Barcés, coming from the area around Cerceda and Carral flows in a north east direction, while the River Mero meanders rond to the north and then turns north east after the reservoir.

The two valleys come together near Orto at 80 m above sea level, and the maximum height is San Román, at 87 m above sea level.
