Bars, restaurants and shops

There are special collections in industrial parks every morning except Sunday. Companies have special containers provided by the City Council.

Two trucks pick up waste from the various markets in the city. One of them is a compresser, while the other is open, and is used at the markets of Las Conchiñas and Santa Lucía, which have hoppers. Waste is collected in the afternoon.

After a door to door campaign and a survey with shops, a test was carried out in the city centre. The City Council provides a free container to each shop. There are three models to choose from.

Paper and cardboard is collected on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings from 10:00 on. There are 90 shops in the project and over 273 tons have been collected. Cardboard from packaging must be well placed for collection.

Glass is collected on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings from 09:30 on. There are 64 five-litre containers for the same number of participants, mainly in the area with most restaurants and bars.
