Future Projects

There are various other projects underway to make La Coruña an even more modern and sustainable council.

 The enormous Atlantic Park will recover the whole seafront. Three million sqaure metres will be a real breathing space for the city, with various environmental projects.

 Los Rosales-Portiño-Bens promenade. This will finish the promenade and join it to the recently opened Park of Bens.

 Play parks for children, specially designed for this natural environment.

 "Environmental Health" circuits to encourage outdoor exercises in the park.

 Routes for cyclists, hikers, horse riders etc. with their corresponding fixtures and signs.

 A biodiversity and ecology project including tree planting and animals in order to obtain biological sustainability.

 Creation of the Renewable Energy Environmental Room. This will be next to the cogeneration plant and will thus make it easy to include in visits.
