 Biogas and energy saving
The produced in the
anaerobic digestion process is used as fuel for a power
station. The biogas is extracted from the digestors and sent to a gasmeter, a
deposit whose function is to regulate the station feeding flow.
It has five engines with a total power of 6 MW (equivalent to 20 wind
generators or 3 mini hydroelectric stations).
