Zones and Routes

Following are some of the data from the Organic and Inorganic Waste Collection Service

	19 collection routes covering the whole municipal area
	Waste collected from almost 13,000 containers
	5,274 containers are for organic waste, most with a capacity of 240 litres
	c. 7,500 are containers for inorganic waste, with a capacity of 770 litres

The planning and design of the routes makes it possible to collect waste from every container every night, except for 25 December and 1 January.
