A significant amount of domestic waste is made up of , almost 21 % of the total weight, while glass takes
up 7 %. Both materials are relatively easy to recycle - in fact, almost
100 % of glass can be recycled.
Material put into continaers should be clean of foreign material, such as tops
on bottles or metallic spirals on paper.

In 2000 47 kg of paper and cardboard per inhabitant were collected, a rate
of 49 % in domestic waste. 7 kg of glass per inhabitant were collected, a rate
of 24 %.
