An ocean-bound city

The Atlantic Ocean surrounds the city of La Coruña, arrival and departure point for peoples and cultures who over 2,000 years have left us legends, myths and history in each and every corner of this coastal town.
La Coruña is the ideal destiny for water sports such as surfing, sailing, diving, fishing ...
Lying at 43º 22' N, 08º 23' W, with an average temperature of 14º C and over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, La Coruña is the ideal destiny for water sports such as surfing, sailing, diving, fishing, or just simply swimming in the sea and walking along the promenade.

The promenade is at present 9 km long, one of the longest in Europe, and will reach a total length of 13 km when the last stages are finished. There is a bicycle lane to make this sport completely safe and very comfortable.

Sports facilities in the city are completed with both public and private clubs for golf, tennis, horse riding, air sports, etc.
